Some best practices and guidelines are universal regardless if you work in Phase 1, 2, or 3.

Here we describe workflows and best practices for coordinators and staff at the three campuses to follow for various tools and services we provide such as: Osmosis, Blackboard, Poll Everywhere, Aquifer, Benware, Echo360, and more. For general information about some of the technology and other resources we use in the Illinois Medicine Curriculum, see this page. Make sure to click on the link in the left-hand menu to access specific best practices and guidelines.

The coordinators and staff in Phase 1 and 2 of the Illinois Medicine Curriculum use Slack as a means of communicating with each other more easily and efficiently than by email or phone calls alone. Slack is similar to text messaging but with more capabilities built in such as instant online meetings, screen share, etc. If you are not familiar with it and would like to know more about it, contact one of your local administrators for more information on how to get started.
