Can I take attendance with Zoom?

Yes. Zoom creates a record of attendance for each meeting. The Reports are saved to the Zoom portal and only the host who scheduled the meeting can access the report. Go to your Zoom account (http://uic.zoom.us), click on Reports on the left hand side, and then Usage. Click on the hyperlinked number in the Participants tab to see who joined when. You can then export this information.

Note: keep in mind that for sessions where attendance is mandatory, students may be having bandwidth issues so it may not be that they decided to not show up
