Can settings be changed during a Zoom meeting?

Yes

The following settings can be changed during a Zoom meeting; designating permission for participants to 

  • Annotate during screenshare, 
  • Rename themselves, 
  • Chat,
  • Share their screen, 
  • Lock the session, 
  • Enable / disable the waiting room, 
  • Remove a participant, etc.). 

Hosts and Co-Hosts have access to a “Security” menu at the bottom of the Zoom screen (see image above). To enable / disable annotation, show names of annotators, hide floating meeting controls, etc. you must be sharing your screen first and then click on the ‘More’ button to find these settings (see image to left).
