How do students typically like to communicate during live sessions?
Either by using the Chat function or the non-verbal feedback function if it is turned on in your settings. They generally prefer this over speaking up verbally, though you will usually have at least a couple students who are more comfortable speaking up. We have a slide that you can insert into your PowerPoint slides that help give you and students cues as to how to respond. You can then copy an icon and put it in the corner of a slide as a reminder to you and students.
